Welcome to the Oryx Endurance Ultimate 100Miler Series, the premier endurance mountain bike and gravel bike racing event in South Africa! We are thrilled to invite riders from across the country to take part in this thrilling and challenging series, featuring three epic 100-mile races in some of the most stunning and diverse landscapes South Africa has to offer.
The series kicks off with the
MATSA100Miler on March 30th, 2024 in the historic city of Bloemfontein. This 100 Milers will take riders through rugged terrain, challenging climbs and descents, and breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside.
The series finale is the
Ride2theKaroo 100Miler on August 31st, 2024 in Kimberley. The route will take riders through the iconic Karoo region, known for its vast open spaces, unique flora and fauna, and challenging terrain.
The Oryx Endurance Ultimate 100Miler Series promises to be an unforgettable experience for riders of all levels, from seasoned veterans to first-time endurance racers. Riders will compete against each other in the series to obtain points in Male and Female Categories.
In this points log system, riders will earn points based on their finishing position in each race. The rider who finishes in first place in each race will be awarded 200 points, second place will be awarded 190 points, third place will be awarded 180 points, and so on.
The rider with the most points at the end of the series in the Male and Female categories will be declared the series champion. In the event of a tie, the rider with the best overall time in the series will be declared the champion.
We encourage all riders to participate in all three races to maximize their points and increase their chances of winning the series. However, riders can still earn points even if they are unable to participate in all three races.
