The 33.3 km route is a shorter, spirited adventure—ideal for riders looking for a fast-paced challenge or those building endurance on gravel. Kicking off from Landboudal Secondary School in Jacobsdal, this route weaves through quiet farm roads and rolling countryside.
With 87% unpaved roads and just 132 m of climbing, it’s a friendly yet exciting loop that packs plenty of variety. Riders tackle a few early hills before reaching Waterpoint 1 at 13 km, and again can refuel at Waterpoint 2 at 21.9 km before the final stretch home.
Expect farm tracks, sweeping turns, and a few cheeky hills to keep things lively. This route is perfectly suited for gravel and mountain bikes, with just 4.3 km of paved surface to link sections together.
An awesome ride for intermediate riders and a fun option for anyone wanting a taste of gravel racing without going full ultra-distance.
