This year marks the 2nd edition of the MATSA100Miler. So you think you have what it takes to conquer the MATSA? This is an event not to be taken lightly.
owever, with a well-planned approach, a fully charged and loads of energy, it’s a very achievable challenge that will definitely transform you into the ultimate mountain biker!
The Matsa MTB 100Mile Challenge will start this year at Bain’s Lodge Bloemfontein and finishes at Rooifontein Kimberley.
This Race open to solo participants, as well as a relay teams that consist out of four (4) riders, and a new category, relay team of two (2) riders which will ride a distance of 80km each.
The route traverse through the rugged topography of the Freestate and Northern Cape, which will include gravel roads.
The objective of this 100 Mile Challenge is to turn it into an experience which left the riders and guests with a lasting memory, also to create a fun, memorable experience.
This Challenge will provide a platform where pro riders can challenge one another, while still catering for the masses who are enthusiastic, hobbyist riders.
The main aim is to raise funds for Alzheimers South Africa.
