It was the vision of Oryx Endurance to inform, entertain, and provide a first class Mountain Bike experience to the athletes who participate in a pleasant, comfortable environment.

The MATSA100Miler started in Kimberley at 6am where a total of 91 Cyclist departed to
Bloemfontein. This MTB Challenge was open to solo participants as well as relay
teams. The route did traverse through the topography of the Northern Cape and
Freestate Provinces. The MATSA100Miler was held for the first time this year.
The fastest time for the first Male that completed this Challenge where 5 hours and 16 minutes and for the first female that completed this challenge where 5 hours and 31 minutes. The first Male to complete the full distance were Jaco Storm, and the first female were Johanet Cilliers.
The objective of the MATSA100Miler was to raise funds for Alzheimers South Africa
as well to turn this event into an experience which left the riders and guests with a
lasting memory, also to create a fun, memorable experience that will bring the riders
back next year.
