"The RACE2THEKAROO invites gravel and mountain bike enthusiasts to challenge themselves on a demanding yet rewarding course through the iconic Karoo region. Experience the thrill of South Africa's vast and arid landscapes and choose your weapon for an unforgettable adventure." Gravel bikes, mountain bikes, and e-bikes are all welcome. E-bikes are eligible to participate, but will not eligible for podium positions.

Open Class – Full 100 Miler
For all riders completing the full 160km distance. Open to both Men and Women.
QUEST Open Class – Middle Distance
For all riders taking on the middle distance. Open to both Men and Women.
DASH Open Class – Short Distance
For all riders tackling the short distance. Open to both Men and Women.
Note: There are no separate bike categories – ride what you’ve got, whether it's a Mountain Bike or a Gravel Bike!
